For this event we have partnered Eventbrite for our ticket bookings

The Whole Kahani (The Complete Story), is a collective of British fiction writers of South Asian origin. The group was formed in 2011 to provide a creative perspective that straddles cultures and boundaries, both emotional and geographical. Its aim is to give a new voice to old stories and increase the visibility of South Asian writers in Britain.

From London to Goa, Manchester to Mumbai, spanning start-ups, girl crushes, virtual gigolos, obsessive fans and astrological mishaps, their eclectic mix of short stories, Love Across a Broken Map, explores love and loss across the dividing lines of culture, race and ethnicity. Love is celebrated, broken and forgotten; it is embraced and remembered in this collection of tales of heartbreak and resilience.

In a slight change from the details in our printed brochure, join writers Mona Dash, Shibani Lal and Reshma Ruia as they discuss their stories from the collection.

Stay on after the event whilst tea from around the globe is served, and you have an opportunity to view Rochdale Pioneers Museum’s latest exhibition Tea and Biscuits.
