Details

Hannah Lee introduces My Hair, a heart-warming, joyous and vibrant new children’s book about one little girl’s search for the best party hair. Join Hannah and the volunteers at Rochdale Central Library for a fun morning of crafts and laughs. Children can listen to a reading of the book, then design their own unique hairstyles using a variety of cut and stick mediums to take home. Start your storytelling adventure by creating your very own character soup and crafting a cool story to take home.

Hannah Lee was born in London and always loved books. She always yearned to see more stories that featured children like her – so now she is writing them!! My Hair was highly commended in the Faber and Andlyn BAME Prize for Writing.

Accompanying adults are not required to buy tickets for this event.
